All Unihatch® Access Panel doors are metal faced and factory fitted with plasterboard. With the Unihatch® you can change between the door finishes in one single step. Simply remove the door from the frame and turn over for a plasterboard faced side ready for a plaster skim finish.
What’s more, you can also move the hinge orientation every 90 degrees on a square panel or 180 degrees on a rectangular Access Panel, without the expensive costs of having to remove the frame from its finished position in its wall or ceiling environment.
All Ceildoor metal Access Panels and Hatches are fully powder-coated white RAL 9010 (as standard) in matt polyester paint on all sides of the door and frame, inside and out. This is the same coating that is normally recommended for general exterior situations, where good weathering resistance is required against high levels of atmospheric moisture or in particularly aggressive atmospheres. Other RAL colours are available on order.
As a British manufacturer, we benefit from local skills and expertise and all our materials are sourced only from UK suppliers – everything from the sheet metal to lock fittings. The materials then undergo a process of folding, forming, cutting, welding, coating then assembling before being packaged and despatched from our manufacturing base in Wolverhampton.
